About
The College of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) has held a unique, vital role in Arkansas for more than 130 years. As the state's only medical school, we train the majority of Arkansas' physicians. Our outstanding faculty members are on staff at UAMS Medical Center, Arkansas Children's Hospital, the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System, UAMS regional centers and numerous other clinics and facilities providing services throughout the state of Arkansas and for patients from around the world.
